OP-XY - Multisample Pack: Salt´n´Pepper and a pinch of spice (New: sept. 18th 2025)
This pack contains 64 Multisamples & 8 Split - Multisamples.
Mostly electronic bread & butter sounds (Salt’n’Pepper in the best sense). They fit easily into existing arrangements and are a solid addition to any collection.
The multisamples are designed so that you can load and play them across all 8 tracks without losing any sound.
Alongside the bread & butter sounds (basses, keys, leads, plucks and polysynths), you’ll also find soundscapes for creating drones and wide atmospheric texture pads that work especially well for ambient music. I sampled Synths like: Oberheim SEM, Prophet, Roland SH-1, some Korg/Yamaha/Wave digitals, and more... with Logic Autosampler for clean Loops.
Here’s a short medley – all sounds come from the Salt´n´Pepper Pack (except drums)
Split sounds: The split sounds in this pack are multisamples and more of an experimental tool than a polished solution. Both sides of a split share the same envelope, filter and FX section – so it’s a compromise by design.
They work best for quick sketches and idea generation. Some examples of combinations:
- Left side = Bass / Right side = Pad
- Left side = Pad / Right side = Synth
- Left side = Synth 1 / Right side = Synth 2
This way you can save tracks and try out ideas fast, even if it’s not as flexible as using separate instruments.
The presets are organized with category prefixes for easy browsing:
bs = Bass
pd = Pad
ld = Lead
ks = Keys
pk = Pluck
sy = Synth / Polysynth
sc = Soundscape
x = Split
